Joined Innowave as a software engineer on its customer-facing semiconductor SaaS products. Beyond the code, I sat close to product marketing and early-adopter customers — which taught me to build features that map to value a buyer actually understands.

What I did
- Build and operate backend microservices and MLOps pipelines for iWave Autopilot and iWave ZeroDefect
- Collaborate with China-based UI/UX teams to redesign dashboards against corporate brand guidelines
- Work with product marketing to turn technical capabilities into customer-facing value propositions
- Run feedback loops with early-adopter customers and feed findings back into the roadmap

This was where I stopped thinking of myself as only an engineer. Standing at trade-show booths and sitting in customer feedback calls reshaped how I prioritise — reliability and clarity beat clever features when a real buyer is in the room.
Designing across cultures
Working with China-based UI/UX teams meant aligning on brand, language, and expectations across borders. It made me a more deliberate communicator and a better collaborator.
